Please remember, that ALL homework may not appear on the website. Homework is posted as a courtesy to students, but may not be updated immediately.
It is THE STUDENT'S responsibility to write it down properly in class!
Homework in our classroom is only assigned to support student learning and provide students the opportunity to practice newly learned information in a structured format. It is NEVER "busy work"Homework Policy: JUST DO IT.
If an assignment is not turned: 1) Students put their name on the missing homework section of the white board. 2) Parent/guardian will be contacted 3) Students need to complete the assignments in question IMMEDIATELY. Write "late" on top of your paper and put it in the late box. |

Extra Credit Policy
I do not give extra credit for projects, classwork or homework. Students are given time in class to work on these items, receive feedback, and help if needed. Students are given rubrics so they know how their work will be assessed.
For math tests/quizzes, I do allow student to make corrections/justification to improve their grade. Corrections/justifications will not be accepted after specified due dates and must include the correct answer and the reason why the original answer was wrong.
EXAMPLE:
Proper justification: "I got the original problem, (6x4)+3x7=n wrong because I did not follow the order of operations. I solved just from left to right. I should have completed the parentheses first, then multiplied by 7, and added 3 last."
Improper justification: "I got it wrong because I didn't do it right".
